My name is Jaqueline Nimatuj, and I live in Quetzaltenango. I currently serve as the coordinator of the Digitalization and Data Processing Department, the area where the records of information from the Foundation’s various programs are kept.
I came to be part of FUNDAP thanks to some friends from university who were already working at the institution. I always saw them happy and motivated, and when a job opportunity came up, I decided to apply for the data entry position. To date, I have 21 years of serving and growing alongside FUNDAP.
From FUNDAP’s mission, what most caught my attention was the opportunity for development offered to lower-income sectors, always with a focus on respect for human dignity.
Beyond the tasks I carry out each day, I see myself as a teammate who enjoys working as part of a team, a mother, and a fulfilled woman doing work with purpose that allows me to serve others.
One of the experiences that has marked me most has been going out into the field and getting to know the stories of our beneficiaries up close — seeing how FUNDAP has impacted and transformed their lives.
In those moments, I get to see my work made real in the development and the opportunities the people we serve have been able to reach in different areas of their lives.
Being part of the Foundation makes me feel fortunate, grateful to God and to FUNDAP, for giving me such a valuable job opportunity — one that allows us to serve and support more people in reaching goals that, in many cases, seemed unreachable.
To the new generations of collaborators, I invite you to make sure that every task you carry out is always focused on our beneficiaries, acting with commitment, dedication, and an attitude of gratitude and service reflected in each of your talents.
For me, FUNDAP represents respect, values, unity, and family.
